Great White Shark Cage Diving
Join us on an adventure you don’t want to miss – shark cage diving just off the coast of Stewart Island, New Zealand where you will be up close and personal with these fascinating creatures of the sea. Full Day Tours from mid-January through to July each year – limit of 6 people diving per tour.

Our friendly team are professional and knowledgeable and our cages are specially designed for this thrilling underwater experience. We are experienced operators and a qualified diver will be present with you in the cage.  We are Stewart Island’s ONLY legally operating shark cage dive company with a 100% perfect safety record.

Shark Dive NZ are the pioneers of white shark diving in southern New Zealand with unmatched experience cage diving with this ‘newest’ population of Great Whites… in fact we have spent more time working with these particular sharks than anyone!

We offer unforgettable white shark encounters that will make your Stewart Island experience truly special. Being passionate about them we endeavour to ensure the unique shark population is not overly disturbed or exploited. The great white shark, Carcharodon carcharias is also known as the great white, white pointer, white shark or white death and they reach maturity around 15 years of age and can have a life span of over 30 years.

On your journey with us you could also see other marine life such as Royal Albatross, NZ Sea Lions, Fur Seals, Blue Penguins, Sooty Shearwaters and Buller’s mollymawks.
